Luca Cadalora is a former professional motorcycle racer from Italy. He was born on May 17, 1963, in Modena, Italy. Cadalora began his racing career in the Italian 125cc Championship in 1982, and in 1986 he won the championship. He then moved up to the 250cc category, where he achieved great success, winning three world championships (1991, 1992, 1993) and 25 Grand Prix races.
Cadalora also competed in the 500cc class and achieved five Grand Prix victories. He retired from professional racing in 1998 but continued to ride in some exhibition events. After his retirement, he worked as a commentator for Italian television and was inducted into the MotoGP Hall of Fame in 2010. Cadalora is considered one of the greatest motorcycle racers of all time, particularly in the 250cc class where he dominated for three consecutive years.
